In a nutshell, here's an outline listing some of the things we learn about in class last week...

• We learned about the Continent of Australia

• Class discussion- The Continent of Australia may also be considered an island (land surrounded by water)

• We learned about The Outback

• We learned about Australia Aboriginals (Australian indigenous people in comparison to Native Americans).

• We went on a virtual field trip to Australia to visit Sydney Opera House

• We learned about opera and listened to Beethoven Ode to Joy

• We went on a virtual field trip to see the Great Barrier Reef

• We learned how electricity use and pollution affects marine life

• We learned about marsupial animals (koalas and kangaroos)

• We learned about platypus

• We listened to different versions of the Little Red Hen story discussing plot, characters, authors, illustrators, parts of a book and such

• We listened to stories, played music/movement games

• Received lessons and had a great time together!
