All about pumpkins!

Some of the things we did in class this week...

• Learned about Diwali ( Festival of lights)

  
  

•  Learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin, and parts of a pumpkin

  
  

• We went on a virtual field trip to a pumpkin patch

  
  

• We went on a virtual field trip to see someone carve a jack-o-lantern (reviewed parts of a pumpkin, learned about different kinds of pumpkins).

  
  

• We learned how to trace the shape of a pumpkin

  
  

• We continue to engage in different activities related to land/air/water 

• We  had opportunities for individual, partners and whole class lessons. 

  
  

• We had opportunities to make independent choices and play cooperatively.

  
  

• We are looking forward to learning more about pumpkins, tasting roasted pumpkin seeds and our little Halloween celebration!
