During this week we...

• Learned about different Landmarks (North America)

• Went on a virtual field trip to see the Statue of Liberty. We learned that the statue represents friendship and freedom. We learned how it was built, transported, and assembled.

• Went on a virtual field trip to see the Grand Canyon. We also learned how the Canyon formed (erosion).

• Read many Thanksgiving-related stories

• Engaged in whole-group, individual and partner lessons

• Had many opportunities to work and play independently and cooperatively

-Learned about early America and Native Americans

-Learned fun facts about Native Americans, went on a virtual field trip to see what their homes looked like in the olden days, foods, regalia and music.

-Learned the Pow-wow dance

Of course we celebrated Mr. Bryan’s birthday!
