Happy Thanksgiving!

Photo-update of our class happenings for the past week!

We learned about our 5 senses and had opportunities to taste honey, lemon and saltine crackers It was fun listening/smelling/seeing/touching and tasting popcorn!!!

Something was popping in the microwave...yes popcorn!

wish you could hear the giggles :o)

We reviewed the concepts previously discussed in class relating to the solar system and re-introduced our planet Earth. We used our sandpaper globe (land and water) and our colorful globe to review the continents starting with North America. We sang the continents song and engaged in theme-related activities.

A few pictures during our work-cycle!

We learned how to fold our bedding! a-w-e-s-o-m-e!

In case you missed our Thankful turkeys bulletin board this month

It was dictation style... I wrote exactly what the kids were thankful for :o)

We discussed the concept of feeling thankful and took turns sharing about people and things that makes us happy and we are thankful for! We extended the lessons by engaging in theme-related activities culminating with our little Thanksgiving celebration :o)

Thank you for your constant support and for allowing me to care for, teach, support, encourage and love these adorable little turkeys every day! I am thankful for all of you!

Wishing you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving!
