It's all about the process...

Updated: Jun 11

My goal is to help the students become independent and self-sufficient. I help children reach that goal by providing opportunities that require the break-down of required actions, following step by step instruction. Once the children learn the steps, they are able to choose and practice the work any time they wish. By following step by step process, children also learn to use logic, follow a sequence, and orientation. Those are very important skills that will help them later on when they start working on more challenging work such as math operations. The goal is for children to learn the process, not so much the end result .

Here’s an example: Easel work
