North America and turkeys :o)

Here's an outline of some of the things we learned this week.

• Learned about the globe and the Continent of North America

• We are learning about different housing, modes of transportation, foods, animals from North America.

• We are learning about early America and Native Americans

• Learned about the Statue of Liberty (Landmark)

• Went on a virtual fieldtrip to see the Statue of Liberty

• Learned about the meaning of Thanksgiving

• Learned about turkeys and their different body parts

• Learned fun facts about turkeys

• Went on a virtual fieldtrip to see turkeys

• We are learning about table manners including taking turns in conversations

• Listened to different stories related to sharing, turkeys and Thanksgiving

• Explored the environment and engaged in activities of our choice

• Played and worked cooperatively
