All about apples...

Here's a list of some of the things we did at school this week...

• Learned about the life cycle of an apple

  
  

• Learned about different parts of an apple

  
  

• We went on a virtual field trip to visit an apple orchard

  
  

• We tasted apple sauce (natural and with cinnamon). Most of our students enjoyed the one with cinnamon the most .

  
  

• We tasted granny smith and gala apples

  
  

• Of course everyone received individual lessons as well as "partner lessons". Working with friends provide opportunities to learn, practice previously learned concepts and practice social skills such as waiting/taking turns.

• We had many opportunities to make independent choices and play cooperatively with our friends.
