Cultural Celebration

Last week we...

• Reviewed fun facts about the Continents and Landmarks

• We sang the Montessori Continents Song

• We went on several virtual field trips including: Diwali celebration (India), We listened to an Indian Tabla Player (India), We were able to listen to different musicians playing the janggu (traditional Korean hour glass-shaped drum).

• We discussed different traditions we celebrate with our families

• We listened to different stories and played different music/movement games

• We had fun "showing and sharing" about different aspects of our cultures

• We enjoyed ice cream together (People from different cultural backgrounds enjoy ice cream We ALL love ice cream!! :o)
