All about penguins!

During this week we...

• Learned about different parts of penguin's body

• Learned about penguin's life cycle

• Learned fun facts about penguins

• Reviewed previously learned concepts including vertebrate/invertebrate, man- made/natural, living/non-living

• Engaged in different theme-related activities

• Went on a virtual fieldtrip to Antarctica to see Emperor penguins

• Went on a virtual fieldtrip to visit a zoo and learned about penguins and what they need in order to survive.

• Received individual/partner and whole-group lessons

• Had opportunities to make independent activity choices

• Had opportunities to work/play cooperatively

During one of our class meeting, we discussed food/snack choices for our Valentine's day celebration . Our students decided they want to make sandwiches again :o)
