Class happenings

Some of the things we did in class this week...

• Learned about the Continent of Asia

• Learned about Lunar year celebrated in China- Year of the fire horse

• Learned about South Korean lunar year (Seollal)

• Went on a virtual field trip to see how people in Asia celebrate the Lunar year

• Went on a virtual field trip to see the Great Wall of China

• We played a game about 5 senses and enjoyed popcorn ( 5 senses experience)

• Individual, whole-group and partner lessons

• Opportunities to explore the environment/Independent activity choices

• Opportunities to play/learn cooperatively

• Opportunities to practice previously learned skills

• Opportunities to practice grace and courtesy

• Listened to stories

• Music/movement games

  
  

We concluded our week with a fun day with our stuffies!!!! We invited our stuffies to join us in all class activities including class whole-group lessons, story time, Go noodle, snack/lunch, and even during recess!
