Happy Valentine's Day!

During this week we learned about...

• Day and night/ how it relates to the Sun and Earth's rotation (the side of Earth facing the Sun(daytime). The facing away from the sun (nighttime)

• Axis, North pole, South pole, East and West

• Nocturnal and diurnal animals

• Habitats (savannah, rainforest, ocean, polar region and dessert)

• As always we practice grace and courtesy. We treated each other with respect and care

• We discussed ways we can problem-solve peacefully

• We engaged in many theme related activities and games

• We listened to many Valentine stories

We played music/movement games, watched a short movie (Llama-Llama Be my valentine), we enjoyed pizza and cookies. We had a great time! Hope you enjoyed your extra-time!
