During this week we learned about...

  • Different habitats in Africa (Rainforest, savanna, and desert)

  • Went on a virtual fieldtrip to visit the Congo Rainforest

  • Went on a virtual fieldtrip to visit the Sahara Desert

  • Went on a virtual fieldtrip for a safari excursion in Africa

  • We learned about carnivore and herbivore animals

  • Had opportunities to journal about our favorite African animals

  • Had opportunities to see a school in Africa. We made comparisons between the school in Africa and our own little school

  • We listened to stories, played games and engaged in many activities

  • Plant observation: chives are growing! not much activity with the other herbs (yet).

We are all excited about a "special delivery" we will receive at some point next week.

We are looking forward to opening whatever we will get together!

We all survived the week!

I was feeling a little under the weather and the kiddos were t-i-r-e-d! Kiddos were wandering, and were more interested in getting hugs and engaging in lengthy conversations with their teacher, not much energy to make independent choices. Hopefully we will all have more energy next week :o)

Enjoy your weekend!
